Welcome to the tea house, to an aquarium. Come and meet a political prisoner, kids selling kites, women uncomfortable with time. Witness "Breathless" go drag in the heart of Istanbul! There will be the smell of raki and glögi in the air.

Dreams of lost time (Faysal Soysal, 2007, Iran/Turkey, 15 min)
The surrealist film by the poet-director goes from dream to another. Trying to get rid of memories, trying to stop time...

Downstairs (M. Cem Öztüfekçi, 2007, Turkey, 19 min)
Every day is the same for Ibrahim. He goes to the mines, stops by the tea-house and gets back home. One night at a remote sea-shore he has a gun pointed at his temple.

LA (Elif Nur Kerkük, 2007, Turkey, 9 min)
LA is a portrait of womanhood, expectations, fears and the passing of time, painted in wistful and tart hues. Evocative, slow-paced music accompanies the story where scissors and nails play a crucial part.

Kamber Ateş, How Are You? (Değer Demircan, 2007, Turkey, 13 min)
In the dark days after the Military Coup of 12th September 1980, a Kurdish political prisoner named Kamber Ateş receives a letter from his brother: mother is coming for a visit in the prison.

Kale Kids (Vlad Illicevici & Andrei Tanase, 2009, Turkey, 16 min)
The kids of a slum district in Ankara go to school, but their free-time is spent at a castle on a hill, earning money with kites they have made. The film was made during an international workshop in Ankara. The cinematographer and editor are Finnish film students.
